Jacob Paul Imel, 78, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS.  Paul was born November 27, 1945, in Canyon Creek, Alberta Canada, the son of Jacob and Nora (Courtorielle) Imel.  On May 28, 1966, he married Wynona J. Loughridge in Newton, KS.  They were married for 34 years before she passed away on September 19, 1999.

Paul was a crane operator and mechanic.  He enjoyed building and repairing cars, watching stock car races and the KC Chiefs. He also enjoyed spending time at the casino and spending time with his family.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wynona; and a great grandson, Benjamin Smith.

Survivors include his three daughters, Michelle Stoll, Angie Imel and Gina (Gary) Imel; two sisters, Marie Edna (Jerry) Nickel and Patty (Bob) Gullion; four grandchildren, Lacie Imel, Trevor Stoll, Arius Imel and Seryna Imel; and four great grandchildren, Kimberly, Gianna, Royce, Boston and one on the way.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd, Hutchinson, KS.  Arrangements and care entrusted to Hutchinson Funeral Chapel & Crematory.
