Hutchinson- Jack James Bass, 80, passed away on January 11, 2022, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, KS, the son of Noble A. and Pearl L. Hunt Bass in Hutchinson, KS.

On December 8, 1989, Jack married Margaret Conrad in Hutchinson, KS. Jack was a self-employed truck driver and worked for Mid America Redi-Mix and retired after 20 years.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jackie Dean; a infant daughter, Linda Sue; six brothers, John, Bill, Dusty, Bob, Dean and Hugh Bass; and three sisters, Maxine Edwards, Gwen Nickel and Judy Cummins.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret; four sons, Gary Bass, Bill Bass, Jason Bass and Michael Shields; one daughter, Elizabeth Bass; 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
