McKinney, Texas –Hildegard Becker, 89, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 at her home in McKinney, Texas.

Hildegard was born March 6, 1930 in Mannheim, Germany, the daughter of Josef and Maria Joner. On October 4, 1952 she married Duane D. Becker in Mannheim, Germany. They shared 57 years together, before he passed on June 30, 2010. Hildegard worked in clothing and jewelry sales.

Hildegard had many hobbies and interests. She was an avid reader; she loved cooking especially German Cuisine, fashion and jewelry, NASCAR, crafts and charities. Above all, her lifelong passion was nurturing her relationships with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane; two sisters and one brother; and a daughter in law, Betty Becker.

Hildegard is survived by her son, Michael D. Becker of Wichita; a daughter, Patricia H. Becker of McKinney, TX; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 31, 2020 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS with Pastor Montie McFerrin officiating. Burial and committal service will be in the Burrton Cemetery, Burrton, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
