Our beloved, Heidi Dawn Blackwell, left us peacefully on August 25, 2024 at the age of 50. Heidi was a beacon of love and strength in our lives, and her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew her.

Born on April 10, 1974 in Hutchinson KS, Heidi dedicated her life to her family and friends. She was known for her infectious smile, unwavering love, incredible resilience, nurturing spirit and she had a unique way of making everyone feel special and loved.

Heidi's love and wisdom have been the heart of our family, and while we grieve her loss, we find comfort in the countless memories we hold dear. She will be forever missed, but her spirit will continue to guide us and inspire us every day.

Heidi is survived by her husband Fred Blackwell, children: Brittany Blackwell (Michael Dunsworth) and Corey Blackwell of Hutchinson, grandsons:  Gage Freyholtz and Toby Walden, of Hutchinson, mother: Dorothy (Roy) Edwards of Livingston, TX, sisters: Wendy (Michael) Miller and Robin Shultz "McClellan", of Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil McClellan.

Her kindness and warmth were felt by many, and her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched. We invite all who knew her to join us in honoring her memory and sharing stories of the beautiful impact she had on everyone's lives.

A service to celebrate her remarkable life will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 10:00 am at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E 30th Ave Hutchinson, KS. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations are to be made to KidneyCare Oklahoma in her name. Reflecting her lifelong fight of diabetes and kidney disease.
