Gerald Dean Burns, 75, died on Friday, April 20th, 2018 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on January 10, 1943 in Kansas City, MO to Charles J. and Agnes (Shrum) Burns.

Gerald enlisted into the United States Air Force in January 1960 in Kansas City, MO and was honorably discharged in May 1961 in Wichita, KS.
He worked for the KSIR in Kansas City for 12 years as a security office before entering retirement in February 1989.

Survivors include three children, Michael (Amanda) Burns, Daniel Burns and Matthew Burns (Lindsay Mangani); granddaughters, Mackenzie and Diana Burns.

Preceeding him in death were his parents, spouse, Diana K.; three brothers, Charles K. Burns, Thomas N. Burns, Ernest Orville Burns, Jessie Burns and Stanley Burns; sister Lilly McDonald.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.
