Gary D. Stark, 75, died on June 15, 2017 at his home in Hutchinson. He was born on October 2, 1942 to Hershel and Velma (Couch) Stark in Hutchinson, KS.
Gary was married to Marsha Ann Poulton. She preceded him in death on July 23, 2017. Gary and Marsha resided in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida for 39 years.
While in Florida, Gary was employed with Pratt Whitney as a machinist for many years. He held a membership with the Machinist Union. Upon the death of his beloved wife Marsha, Gary relocated back to Hutchinson to be near his family. Gary enjoyed wildlife, but specifically birds. He would help care and raise endangered species of birds and then release back into the wildlife.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his spouse and a brother, Ron Stark.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Dan Wickey, Hutchinson; three grandchildren, Brandyn Wickey, Amanda Smith and Skyler Wickey; three great granddaughters, Lilyana Wickey, Rhyan Smith, Saige Wickey ; four great grandsons, Braxtyn and Ezra Wickey, Dakota and Levi Smith.
Cremation has taken place. There are no services planned at this time.
