D. Gary Fisher, 80, passed away, April 18, 2019 at Hospice House, Hutchinson.

Gary was born March 8, 1939 in Hutchinson, KS, the son of Andrew F. and Anna Mae (Sturgeon) Fisher. On September 7, 1962 he married Juanita C. Pool in Hutchinson.

Gary was a custodian for USD 308 and USD 310 for almost 27 years before retiring. He was a member of First Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Gerald Dean Fisher.

Gary is survived by his wife, Juanita; a son, Keith Fisher; sisters, Stella Ban of Eugene, OR., Virginia Bowman of Wichita, and Barbara (Glen) Magby of Burrton; brother, Francis E. (Lela) Fisher Sr. of Hutchinson; granddaughter, Caitlin Sue Fisher of Topeka; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on April 25, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Lyons Municipal Cemetery, Lyons with Pastor Bob Phipps presiding. There will be no public visitation as cremation was chosen. Friends may sign the book from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Wednesday at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
