Eugenia Alice Jane Hayes, age 102, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away on October 26, 2025.  She was born on October 24, 1923, in Geneseo, KS, the daughter of Lawrence T. and Perl (VanArsdale) Boeken.

On November 25, 1970, Eugenia married Paul Hayes near his farm in Castleton, KS.  He died September 5, 1998.

Eugenia is survived by her son, Walter White, Jr.; siblings, Edgar Ackley, Ethel Terry, and Allen Ackley; grandchildren, Lori (Alan) Koontz and Joshua White; and one great grandson, Alejandro Bustamante White.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Hayes; son, William White; siblings, Eula Pearson, Lola Ackley, Eldon Ackley and Elda Smith; and a grandson, Ethan M. White

A private graveside inurnment will take place in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, KS.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made out to donors' choice and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
