Emalene Ruth Grover, 96, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Mennonite Friendship Communities in South Hutchinson, Kansas.  Emalene was born October 21, 1927, in Augusta, KS, the daughter of Arthur Thomas and Ruth Emalene (Dennett) Black.  On November 22, 1946, Emalene married Edgar Grover in Saxman, KS.  They were married for 74 years before his passing in 2021.
Emalene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edgar; and a daughter, Patricia Amend.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth L. Grover; four grandchildren, Lori Sutton, Jody Amend, Isaac Grover and Macy Grover; and seven great grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.  Care and arrangements have been entrusted to Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.
