Elven Keith Zongker, 89, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS. He was born January 12, 1933, in Garden City, KS, the son of Elven G. and Lottie E. (Butts) Zongker. On July 13, 1952, he married Dorothy M. Kelley in Ulysses, KS. Elven worked for US Department of Agriculture and retired after 27 years. Elven was a member of Countryside Baptist Church where he was an active member. He was also a member of the IOOF and NARFE. He was preceded in death by his parents. Elven is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; two sons, Randall (Susan) Zongker and Kirk (Kathy) Zongker; two daughters, Debra Erxleben and Shana (Jesse) Burgess; nine grandchildren, Amanda (Joshua) Linnell, Sarah (Preston) Snider, Adam (Jessica) Zongker, Molly (Pippin) Williamson, Luke (Jessica) Zongker, Grace (Lane) Wiens, Faith Zongker, Nathan (Kellie) Lawless, and Loren (Kate) Lawless; and 17 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Countryside Baptist Church 819 W. 30th Ave, Hutchinson. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Countryside Baptist Church or Gideon'sInternational and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson, KS. 67502.
