Edward M. Ridge, 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31, 2023 in Arroyo Grande, CA. He was born February 12, 1940, in Turon, KS to Fred and Irene (Pennel) Ridge.

Edward graduated from Turon High School in 1959 and was an auto mechanic.  On April 10, 1970, Edward married Sybil Carey in Miami, OK. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Crossroads Christian Church in Hutchinson.

Edward is preceded by his parents; his wife, Sybil Ridge; four brothers; one sister; one step-son; and one great grandchild.

He is survived by his two children, Dayna Jackson and husband Scott and Steven Ridge and wife, Cheri; two step children, Larry Latimer and wife Debbie and Jim Latimer and wife Barbara; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Crossroads Christian Church, 4310 N. Monroe, Hutchinson, KS, with Pastor Kevin Guffey officiating.
