Wichita – Donald Allen Lenz, 61, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS He was born August 21, 1956 in Hutchinson, KS, the son of Donald C. Lenz Jr. and Janelda Smyres. On April 16, 1982 he was united in marriage to Judy McKenzie at the First Christian Church, Hutchinson, KS. Don was preceded in death by his mother Janelda Smyres-Pitts and two brothers, Gary and David Lenz. He is survived by his wife Judy Lenz of Wichita; father and step-mother, Donald C. Lenz Jr. and Verona Lenz of Hutchinson; three daughters, Donna Lenz-Dean, Danielle Lenz and Andrea Lenz-Castillo all of Wichita; a sister Sharon Vincent of Hutchinson,step-father, Charlie Pitts, step-brother, Rick Pitts, two step-sisters, Nonie Pitts-Gehring and Rhonda Pitts-Crissman, and nine grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, KS. There will not be a public visitation. Memorials may be given to Donald Allen Lenz Memorial Fund to be used to help defray funeral cost and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
