Delores J. Hobbs, 88, died May 25, 2023 at Legends Senior Living, Hutchinson. She was born June 21, 1934 in Washington, D.C., the daughter of William and Esther (DeVers) Anderson. She married Andrew "Jack" Hobbs Jr. on July 7, 1953 in Bethesda, MD. They were married 60 years before he passed away in 2013.  Delores was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include four children, Laura Finch (Wayne), Hutchinson, Robert Hobbs, Hutchinson, Scott Hobbs (Robin), Wichita, and Shawn Hobbs (Brandi), Hutchinson; one sister, Carol Watson; two brothers, Robert Anderson and William Anderson Jr. , 10 grandchildren, A.J. Finch (Sarah), Michael Finch, Richard Hobbs, Jr., Ashley Thoman (Kryss), Andrea Hobbs, Dalton Hobbs (Dafne), Hallie Hobbs, Zachary Hobbs, Kyle Garwood (Candice), and Andrew Garwood (Krystal Anderson), and five great grandchildren, Caydince, Bella, Lillian Finch, Alivia Hobbs and Isaac Suppes; and one great-great grandchild, Olive Finch.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; son, Jack Hobbs III; and brothers, Ronald and Ernest Anderson.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023, with the family present from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson. Cremation will follow. Graveside inurnment services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th Ave., Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Traditions Home Health and Hospice, in care of the funeral chapel.
