David Webb, 61, of South Hutchinson, died Tuesday, July 30, 2024. He was born Sept. 11, 1963, to Richard J. and Mary (Urban) Webb in McPherson, KS.

He was a lifelong tradesman in construction, specifically talented and passionate about carpentry. His hobbies were fishing, gardening, and playing guitar and harmonica.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard J Webb Jr. of South Hutchinson; brother, Richard J. Webb III of Walker, KS; sisters, Ruth Martinie of Hutchinson, Vivian Sorenson of North Platte, NE, and a son, William David Grimes of Pratt, KS.

David is survived by his mother, Mary Webb of South Hutchinson; sisters, Catherine Hixon, Patricia Best (Harlan), Barbara Webb, of Hutchinson, Frances Ronnau (Robert) of Phoenix, AZ, Christine Webb-Mikesell of Mesa, AZ, Rita Carpenter (Kris) of Colwich, KS, Mary Walker (David Cunningham) of Kansas City; brother, Daniel Webb of South Hutchinson; daughter, Amanda Petz, and grandchildren, Laney and Adrienne Petz, William Willard, and lifelong friend Sharon Grimes all of Pratt, KS, along with many nieces and nephews.

Parish Rosary will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 612 S. Maple, South Hutchinson, KS.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Inurnment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, KS.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the donor's choice and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson, KS 67502.
