David L. Longstreth, 72, lived a long life before passing away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, after a battle with COPD.

He was born September 16, 1950 in El Dorado, KS, the son of Lawrence E. and Edna Mae (Nace) Longstreth. David graduated with his GED in 1975 and attended The University of Saint Mary's in Leavenworth, KS. David worked in the plumbing industry for many years and his favorite hobbies included cooking, baking, and gardening. On July 11, 1998, he married his soulmate and best friend, Pam R. Popp in Buhler, KS.  They spent 25 wonderful years together. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his son, David Longstreth and stepson, Adam Popp; daughter, Tracy Jones; three siblings, Mark Cunningham, David Luman, and Dana Brubaker; sister-in-law, Honey Jean Longstreth; seven grandchildren, Brandon Williams, Brittney Williams, Jaden Jones, and Jade, Brianna, Kayden, and Juliana Longstreth; and a cousin, Sherlyn Finley.

He is preceded by his parents and three siblings, Dale Longstreth, Karen Cole, and Connie Rader.

Cremation has been chosen and there will be no services held at this time. Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
