David Lee Blanton, 64, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson, Kansas.  David was born February 10, 1960, in Hutchinson, KS, the son of Jimmie and Treeta (Cole) Blanton.  In 2002, David met his fiancé, Terrie Robinson.  They had been together for 22 years.
David had many interests and hobbies.  He enjoyed playing pool and games on his Ipad.  He also enjoyed watching football every Sunday, cooking, feeding his cats, birds and squirrels.    He loved and adored his son, Daniel.
David was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Danny Ray Blanton, Jarron Blanton, and Calvin Blanton.
Survivors include his fiancé, Terrie; son, Daniel Blanton; a brother, Thomas (Kathi) Blanton; two sisters, Treeveala (Ralph Reed) Blanton and Judy (Richard) Yingling.
Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.  Care and arrangements have been entrusted to Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.
