Danny Joe Willard Sr., 74, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at his home in Pratt, Kansas. Danny was born December 27, 1949, in Pratt, KS, the son of Clarence and Lavenia (Patterson) Willard.  On June 17, 2005, he married Rayetta Watts in Pratt, KS.  They shared 20 years of marriage together.

Danny graduated from Pratt High School and received an associate degree from Pratt Community College.  He worked for IBM in computer sales and later worked in maintenance at Friendship Manor.  He enjoyed golfing, watching the KC Chiefs, and loved spending time with his family.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Clairene McHenry and Julia Mae Hembree.

Survivors include his wife, Rayetta; four sons, Danny J. Willard Jr., Darrin Willard, Dane Willard and Doug (Jessica) Walles; two sisters, Wanda Castleberry and Joan Casey; one brother, William "Bill" Willard; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Per Danny's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be held on May 11, 2024, at 11am at the Pratt Senior Center, Pratt, KS.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Danny J. Willard Sr. Memorial Fund and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
