Dana James Anderson, 49, passed away May 18, 2022, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS. He was born December 18, 1972, in Kingman, KS, the son of David J. and Judy F. (Campbell) Anderson.
Dana graduated from Fairfield High School and graduated in 1991 and later received his welding certificate from Hutchinson Community College. He was a welder for Superior Boiler. On September 4, 2005, Dana married Belinda Youngblood in Pratt, KS. They shared 16 years of marriage together.
Dana enjoyed fishing, going to the lease to ride go-carts with his grandchildren, camping and barbecuing and he was an avid KU fan. Dana was hard working and loved providing for his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Anderson.
Survivors include his mother, Judy Anderson; wife, Belinda Anderson; one daughter, Kali (Jeremy) Gonzales; one step-daughter, Katie Simpson; seven siblings, Wayne (Jeannie) Anderson, Rebecca Colbert, William "Bill" Bailey III, Judi (Scott) Foster, JoeDee Bailey, Janet (Randy) Huitt, and Jennifer (Joe) Perry; two grandchildren, Leon Huffman and MaKynzi Gonzales; one step- grandchild, John D. MacAulay; two aunts, Mary Lou Dooley and Irene Baldwin; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Per Dana's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Noel Lodge and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.Service will be lived streamed on the chapel's Facebook page: Hutchinson Chapel.
