Cynthia A. Hudson, 74, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at her home in Hutchinson, KS. Cynthia was born January 26, 1950, in Henderson, TN, the daughter of Harley & Alice (Howell) Douglas.

On July 6, 1999, Cynthia married Larry D. Hudson in Hutchinson, KS.  They were married for 24 years before he passed away on June 22, 2024.  She was an inspector at Midland Brake Inc. for 17 years.  She was an avid Elvis lover and enjoyed spending time with her step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry; stepson, Edward Hudson and a brother, Buddy Douglas.

Cynthia is survived by her stepchildren, James (Pam) Hudson, Catherine (Mike) Turnbull and Julie Hudson; daughter-in-law, Trish Hudson; sisters, Katherine Bockrath and Sandra Spencer; brother, Jonthan Vick; and several step- grandchildren and step- great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 20, 2024, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel. The burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka, KS.  Memorials may be given to Traditions Hospice and sent in care of the funeral chapel.
