Cruz M. Garcia died peacefully on June 5th, 2022 at her daughter's home in Wichita, KS, surrounded by her loving family.

Cruz was born on May 3rd, 1924, at La Union, Coahuila (Mexico), to Zenon Medina and Alejandra (Viesca) Medina.

She married Jesus E. Garcia in 1947. He passed away October 17th, 1977.

Cruz worked in housekeeping at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Grace Hospital and Hutchinson Community College.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Antoinella Garcia; son-in-law, Antonio Castro and all of her siblings (3 brothers and 5 sisters).

She is survived by a son, Jesse (Hutchinson); daughters, Rosemary Castro (Wichita), Mary (Steve) Navarro (San Antonio, TX); five grandchildren; Rosie Ackerson, John Paul Castro, Teresa Castro, Michael Navarro, and Anthony (Brianna) Navarro; four great grandchildren, JC (Christine) Caldwell, Tony Caldwell, Gianna and Josiah Navarro, and 1 great - great granddaughter, Chanel Caldwell.

Cremation has taken place and a private gathering and funeral will take place at a later date.

She was a joy to bearound and will be sorely missed by all those who loved her.
