Clifford J. McAllister Sr., 95, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS.

Cliff was born July 31, 1926, in Lyons, KS, the son of John and Clara Massey McAllister. On November 1, 1951, Cliff married June Worman in Hutchinson and they were married for 53 years before she passed away in 2004. Cliff worked in the oil field for 21 years and later worked for Western Supply, AVS Camper Service, Farmland Industries and finally retired from Collins. After retirement he worked as a sub-custodian for USD 309. He was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, June; four brothers, Zack, Pete, Mont and Elton McAllister and a sister, Marceline Johanning.

Cliff is survived by his two sons, Clifford McAllister Jr. and Kit McAllister; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. Service will be held at a later date. Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
