Chris Harriet Medina, age 60, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.  She was born in Canadaigua, NY on March 20, 1964, to Maron Bacon and Harriet Olyer.  She married Victor Medina on July 22, 2004, in Hutchinson, KS.

She was a faithful Bell Ringer for The Salvation Army every year.  Chris enjoyed people and sharing joy with everyone she met and wouldn't let you pass her by without shouting a greeting.  She always thought of others through cards and warm greetings.  She loved her husband, shopping, and being around people.

She is survived by her husband, Victor Medina; her son, Joseph; brother-in-law, Tony; and several nieces and nephews.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Chris touched are invited to the Salvation Army, 700 N. Walnut, Hutchinson, KS, at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, to celebrate her life.  Care and arrangements have been interested to Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.
