Charles Albert Kennedy, 76, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at his home in Hutchinson, KS.

Charles was born on October 7, 1948, in Beaumont, TX, the son of Charles Dean and Bertha (Frank) Kennedy. On August 9, 1985, he married Adriane Grimes in New Orleans, LA.

Charles graduated from Martin Behrman High School, Algiers, LA in 1966.  He earned his bachelor's degree in 1971 from Louisiana State University. He worked as a retail manager for Acoustic Sounds in Salina, KS for 10 years.  Charles was a Hi-Fi enthusiast and audiophile.  He spent his free time listening to a wide genre of music.  He also had a passion for black and white photography.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles D. and Bertha Kennedy.

Charles is survived by his wife, Adriane; a daughter, Kristin Kennedy-Spadoni; a son, Colin Kennedy; and four grandchildren, Ethan Spadoni, Evan Spadoni, Dylan Spadoni and Quinn Kennedy.

Rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, October 14, 2024, at St. Teresa's Catholic Church, 211 E. 5th, Hutchinson, KS, with Father Matthew Marney officiating.   Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
