Carolyne A. Seymore, 82, of Hutchinson, passed away on April 17, 2020 at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born August 5, 1937, in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Walter and Margaret (Kuykendall) Heyen.In 1959, Carolyne married Sammy Seymore in Houston, TX. They later divorced. Carolyne graduated high school in Terre Haute and went on to get her Bachelor's Degree in nursing at John Hopkins University and worked for over 30 years at Hutchinson Hospital. She was a very talented water-color painter. Carolyne had her art work displayed at the Kansas State Fair where she won ribbons. Her art work was displayed at various art galleries and has been displayed in public buildings throughout Kansas. Carolyne was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Susan Seymore and a sister, Betty Lawson. She is survived by her ex-husband, Sammy Seymore, sons, Steve Seymore and Mark Seymore; brother- in – law, Bob Lawson, a grandson, Sean Seymore. Friends may sign the book 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel. A private family service will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th Ave., Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hutchinson Art Center.
