Carolyn P. Woodson, 77, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021, at her home in Hutchinson, KS.

Carolyn was born February 22, 1944 in Hutchinson, the daughter of James F. and Lavenia F. (Neal) Woodson. Carolyn worked as a customer service representative for Westar Energy and was also a clerk for the Hutchinson Police Department. She married James Price Sr. and from this union, had two sons; Frank D. Price and James Price Jr. They later divorced.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three siblings, Wayne Woodson, Roslyn Davis and Jim Woodson Jr.

Carolyn is survived by her two sons, Frank and James; two sisters, Julie "Tootsie" Woodson and Shirley Woodson; five grandchildren, Damyn Price, Tiala Price, Brittany Harrison, Taylor Clifford and Sean Darnell Price; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per Carolyn's wishes, cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Life will take place Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Center of Kansas or Cancer Council of Reno County, sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.
