Carla Sue Wright, 60, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Hutchinson Reginal Medical Center, Hutchinson, KS.

She was born February 9, 1962 in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Earl R. and Margeret E. (Ebeling) Deck. She graduated from Hutchinson High School and attended Hutchinson Community College and Washburn University. On November 5, 1989 she married Danny P. Wright in Hutchinson, KS. Carla was a member of First Christian Church. She enjoyed sewing, bible study, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Danny; a son Eric; and granddaughter Addilynn.

Carla is survived by her two children, David Deck and Lydia Moss both of Hutchinson; two brothers, Robert Deck and Keith Deck, two sisters, Carol Mellenbruch and Patty Deck; a grandson, David Deck II, and a granddaughter, Ellie Moss.

There will be no public visitation held as cremation was chosen. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to Make A Wish and sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson, KS. 67502.
