Obituary


Inman – Camerina "Carmen" Rodriguez, 94, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2020 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Inman, KS. She was born November 17, 1925 in Durango, Mexico, the daughter of Carlos Monarrez and Herminia Tavison Agileda.

On April 19, 1958, she married Cecil P. Rodriguez. She was a homemaker and worked in the restaurant business. Carmen loved gardening, caring for plants, and collecting antiques. Carmen will be remember for helping her family and friends. Carmen was of strong faith and dedication to our Lord. She attended Spanish Baptist Church.

Carmen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil; son, Presilano Montez; daughter, Helen Rodriguez; brother, Melesio Tabison; sisters, Hermelinda Quintero and Lila Perez.

Survivors include her sons, Salomen Montez of Dodge City, KS., Cecil Rodriguez Jr. of Newton, KS., Freddy Rodriguez of Hutchinson, KS.; daughters, Annie Rodriguez-Harris of Hutchinson and Elena Carolina Paubel of Wichtia, KS.; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., December 2, 2020 at Fort Dodge Veteran's Cemetery. Burial will take place in Fort Dodge Veteran's Cemetery, Fort Dodge, KS. Memorials may be given to the Dementia Society of America and sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
