Brian J. Bentley, 46, passed away on March 7, 2020 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, KS. He was born September 4, 1973, in Oceanside, CA, the son of David W. and Ellen (Grinolds) Bentley. Brian enjoyed many hobbies and interests. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, cooking, woodworking, sewing and knitting. Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen; and a daughter, Brianna. Survivors include his fiancée, Kelly Morgan; mother, Debra Hedger; his children, Sarah Elizabeth Sanders of Elkhart, IN, Mary (Matt) Thomas of Warsaw, IN, James (Sammy) Edwards, and Ziven Pare both of Hutchinson; sisters, Sherri (Woofey) Bentley, Penny Riffle and a brother Brent Whetstine all of Hutchinson, and a grandson, Journey Edwards. There will not be a public visitation as cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Life will be held in September.
