Hutchinson – Bobby Lynn Ayres, 78, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS. He was born August 7, 1944 in Hutchinson, KS, the son of Bob Evans and Juanita B. (Downing) Jenkins.

Bobby worked as a technician for Cessna Aircraft for 44 years. He enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, camping, and fixing and restoring cars. He was a man of many trades and will be missed dearly by his family.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kenny and Lonnie Ayres.

He is survived by his three children, Tim (Stacy) Ayres, David Ayres, and Jill Ayres; a sister, Lori Gulley-Ayres; 10 grandchildren, Taylor Ayres, Jennifer Schnable, Shauna Ward, Brian Ayres, Lani Astorga, Dalton Ayres, Alicia Ayres, Isabella Ayres, Ariana Ayres and Adelia Ayres; and 19 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 10:00 A.M., at Calvary Chapel, 1400 N. Adams St., Hutchinson, KS, with Pastor Luke Helmuth officiating. Memorial contributions can be made out to Traditions Home Health, and sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 East 30th Avenue, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
