Barbara A. Villa, 75, died on November 25, 2018 at the Hospice House in Hutchinson. She was born on March 30, 1943 in Hutchinson, the daughter of Joe and Helen (Pina) Ramos. Barbara spent all of her lifetime in the Hutchinson community and graduated from Hutchinson High School. She was married to Juan N. Villa. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson. Barbara also was active with the Altar Society and spent time in the Adoration Chapel. Barbara retired as a phone operator for AT & T. After retirement, she would meet monthly with a group of fellow operators for networking and friendship. Preceding her in death were her parents and her daughter, Jill Ramos. Survivors include her spouse Juan, of the home; a son, Mario Beltran, Hutchinson; sister and brother-in-law, Madeline and George Ontiberos, Wichita; brother and sister-in-law, Mario and Rita Ramos, Olathe; one grandson Chance Beltran and one granddaughter, Dayanaira Palmeiro. Visitation will be held on Hutchinson Funeral Chapel on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday following the Rosary, beginning at 10:30 a.m Burial will follow at Fairlawn Burial Park Memorial Contributions can be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in care of the funeral chapel at 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
