B. Richard Rios, 86, passed away December 12, 2018. On October 9, 1952 he married Jennie Melgosa in Raton, New Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his sons Richard and Ernest Rios. B. Richard is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jennie of Hutchinson; son, Robert of Brentwood, CA; daughters, Diane and Greg Phillips of Arvada, CO, Donna and David Von Derohe of Janesville, WI, and Elizabeth Rios of Huntington Beach, CA; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren. A book signing will be available at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel on Monday, December 17, and Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at St. Teresa's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers please make contributions to St. Teresa's Catholic Church.
