Anna May Grey passed peacefully on June 7, 2025, at the age of 85. Anna was born April 3, 1940, to Viola and Horase Johnson.

She married Floyid Roy Grey Sr. September 3, 1961, in Hutchinson, KS. They went on to have 6 children, Floyid Grey Jr., Walter Grey (Betty), Anna Henderson (Bob), Viola Starks (Billy), Donna Barber (Rodney), and Katherine Grey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Katherine, 5 siblings, and 2 grandchildren. Anna was a strong woman of faith.

She attended the Salvation Army Church for 60+ years where she was recognized for her 40 years of service ringing bells. She enjoyed cooking, canning, and baking. Everyone raved over her chicken and noodles and devilled eggs. She enjoyed her teatime with her friends. She is loved and will be dearly missed by many.

The family would like to thank the staff of Pleasant View Homes in Inman, KS and Community Care Hospice for their incredible care provided to Anna and the entire family.

Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Salvation Army Church, 700 N Walnut, Hutchinson, KS.  Burial will follow at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time on June 14, 2025. Memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave. Hutchinson, KS 67502.
