Angelina Violet (Ann) Burris passed away on August 25, 2018 at the Hospice House in Hutchinson, KS. Ann and Leonard moved to Geneseo, KS. April 1941. Ann moved to a care facility in McPherson in 2005 .

Ann Burris was born December 2, 1921 in Salina County, MO to Hugo Strodtmann and Mary Alice Glenn. Ann had 6 sisters and 2 brothers, Nellie Vansteenburg, Henry Strodtmann, George (Pat) Strodtmann, Mary Alice Barnes, Jenny Heilman, Agnes Miller and Maxine Thul.

Ann was a current member of the American Legion Post # 471.

Preceded in death were her husband, 4 sisters, 1 infant sister and two brothers.

Ann married Paul Leonard (Windy) Burris on December 26, 1940, Leonard passed away on June 17, 2001.

Survivors include 3 sons- Roger, Ron and Rick, 1 sister Maxine Thul, 5 grandchildren, Jeff Burris, Tim Stefek, Tracy McCubbin, Laura Ruffin and Chad Burris. 7 great children, Jordan McCubbin, MacKenzie McCubbin, Luke Holloway, Josh Holloway, Ryder Ruffin, Aubrey Burris and Kinsley Burris and 1 "great great" grandchild, Miles Casper.

A graveside service will be held in Geneseo at 11:30 am on September 16, 2018 followed with a luncheon at the Geneseo American Legion.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Geneseo Cemetery in care of the Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 East 30th Ave. Hutchinson, KS. 67502
