Amalia Mora, 82, of Hutchinson, passed away on April 27, 2020, at Hospice House in Hutchinson. She was born April 25, 1938, inAquiares de Turrialba, Costa Rica, the daughter of Rogelio and Hilda (Fernandez) Castro. On November 21, 1959, Amalia married Remigio Mora in San Jose, Costa Rica. Amalia worked at Motel 8, Ineeda Cleaners and McDonalds. She was also a member of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle. Amalia was very happy and outgoing. She loved God and her family with all her heart. She will be missed by all that knew her. Amalia was preceded in death by her parents; husband Remigio; three brothers, Edgar, Efrain, Gerardo and one sister, Margarita. Survivors include her four sisters, Lidia, Isabel, Odillia and Alicia; four children, Majie (Steven), Luis, Maritza, and Jeanette; nine grandchildren, Christina, Johnathan, Erica (Ogi), Eric, Daniel, Kristen, Samantha, Josiah, Jazmin; and seven great grandchildren, Israel, Sofija, Aubrey, Anthony, Elijah, Kaydance, and Ivory. A private family visitation will be held Thursday, April 30, 2020. A private family service will follow at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle with Pastor Nathan Karriker officiating. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson.
