Obituary

Adam A. Dreisziger, 77, died on August 30, 2018 at Sandpiper Nursing Home in Wichita, KS. He was born in Hungary on January 18, 1941 and raised by Frank and Ethel Dreisziger. Adam married Maria Norby on November 16, 1963 in St. Raphael's in Bay Village, Ohio. They were members of the Holy Cross Catholic Church of Hutchinson. He enjoyed working and staying busy. Adam worked for Superior Boiler Works for 25 years. After he retired (with a partner) he started Combustion Controls Inc. In his earlier lifetime, Adam enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, and had a deep love and passion for the old school "hot rod" cars. Adam was a member of the NRA and an avid competitive clay shooter. Overall his lifetime hobbies and activities, his favorite time was time spent with Maria. He was fiercely devoted to his wife and family. Preceding him in death are his parents. Survivors include his loving wife Maria; son , Andy Dreisziger and wife Renee; daughter, Elena Dreisziger; sister-in-law Yolanda Norby, all of Colorado; seven grandchildren, Jessi, Cassidy, Shayla, Daisy, Aidan, Calvin and Maggie; three great grandchildren, Austin, Blaze and Jax. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Hutchinson. There is no burial scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, OH or National Stroke Association, Centennial, CO, in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
